Student Awards & Distinctions

Celil T. is one of only 3 students in Virginia to earn the Congressional Award Gold Medal in 2020. Celil will be recognized by Congress at the Annual Gold Medal Ceremony in the summer of 2021. Congratulations Celil!

Medhnaa S. was honored to have been chosen as one of the two US representatives for the "Put Your Money Where Your Mouth Is! United Nations Side Event". Medhnaa advocates against child labor and trafficking. She has even started her own non-profit organization with her brother to fight against the utilization of trafficked children.

Student Led Fundraisers & Events

Middle school students raise $700 for restoration efforts after the Australian wildfires. The school was visited by Mr. Rory Linehan, the Policy and Outreach Director at the American Australian Embassy in Washington, D.C. to collect the funds raised by our students. 

Every year, Pinnacle joins in partnership with the American Heart Association to raise awareness for heart health and help those less fortunate. In light of COVID-19, last year we participated in our first ever virtual family fun night and our students played an active role in the fun.
